Chessington Garden Centre
Since 1967, Chessington Garden Centre has been an established garden supplies store stocking plants, horticultural accessories and garden furniture. We worked with Chessington Garden Centre to replace their existing website with a new enterprise ecommerce solution based upon Magento 2.3.X, with integration into Navision ERP using Nav Connect. A GFS delivery weight optimisation solution was also implemented to enable an optimised and automated order processing and delivery function.
With a loyal customer base in place, the design had to effectively communicate the business’ strong ethos of excellent service and expert advice. Responsively built, a range of ecommerce features were incorporated to optimise the customer experience and improve conversions including enhanced merchandising, the ability for customers to spread the cost with Klarna payment options plus trade accounts and pricing.
The new site offers integrated loyalty giving customers the ability to earn and redeem points as well providing the ability to join the scheme online. This online functionality is linked to existing in-store loyalty accounts resulting in a cross channel programme that significantly increases retention opportunities through loyalty adoption.
